John Mutton Pinckard remarried to a lady called Amelia Brinsley, They married in Clerkenwell in London on 27th September 1852 reference, GRO ref. 1 b 661.John Mutton Pinckard is recorded as being 28, a bachelor and a farmer, his father is Richard Pinckard, a farmer. Amelia is recorded as being a spinster aged 28, her father is recorded as being George Brinsley, a solicitor. (from http://www.northants-familytree.net/pinckard%20elizabeth%20part%20two.htm an article by Derek Pinckard)
from marriage certificate supplied by Derek Pinckard: the parish church in the parish of Clerkenwell, Middlesex, 27 Sep 1852 John Mutton Pinckard, age 30, widower?, farmer, residence Little Warner Street, father Richard Pinckard, farmer, Amelia Brinsley, age 28, spinster, 12 Cappin Street, father George Brinsley, solicitor, by banns, witnesses Frederick and Ada Cooper
note that John Mutton Pinckard marries Ann Frost on 18 Nov 1852, just 52 days later
From Derek Pinckard, 6 Aug 2007: "New information has come to light about Amelia Brinsley who married John Mutton Pinckard. It seems she was not a spinster when she married john in September 1852, but a widow of Charles Brinsley. She was therefore not the daughter of George Brinsley, Solicitor, but George and Ann Cooper. (Frederick and Ada Cooper were witnesses to John and Amelia's marriage.) It seems the marriage was annulled, as in the 1861 census Amelia Brinsley is living with her mother, Ann Cooper, not Brinsley, not Pinckard." | Family: F1161
